Meet the Administrators

Hello families, I’m honored to serve as your Assistant Principal at Gulfstream Early Learning Center. It has been a great pleasure to work with Broward County Public Schools for over 21 years and serving as your Assistant Principal.  I am looking forward to another year to serve this wonderful community alongside Ms. Moss and Dr. Canning. It is very exciting to be part of such an incredible team where the individual needs of our students and their families.  

We strive to meet individual needs of each child and their family; our goal is to build a strong family and a strong educational foundation for the children.

At Gulfstream ELC, you will find that all our teachers and staff are focused on providing strong language models, a safe learning environment, and positive, kind interactions. Children are cherished for their individuality, encouraged to learn, and grow while playing, singing, dancing and reading.

We encourage all our families to get involved in volunteering at our school and joining the SAC/SAF meetings. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children where we can work together as a team.

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year at Gulfstream Early Learning Center.  We are excited to have our children back to school face to face!  Our center continues to grow each year!  This is our eighth year in operation and we will have thirteen inclusive classrooms for children this year:

• Early Head Start: Infant & Toddler Classes
• Head Start: two 3-year-old and two 4-year-old Classes
• Voluntary Prekindergarten: two VPK classes
• Special Needs: Specialized and Intensive Classes

We are glad to offer a variety of programs to support our children and families!  Please explore our school website or give us a call to learn more about the great things we have to offer you and your family at Gulfstream Early Learning Center . . . where Learning Never Ends! 

• Children need sneakers/shoes (closed-toe - not sandals) for safety reasons. 
• We would like our students to have REGULAR-SIZED BACKPACKS (no rolling wheels, please). 
• Your child will need a small blanket (or beach towel) to cover during nap time. 
• Our classrooms are a bit chilly, so your child may need a light jacket or sweater.
• And, a change of labeled clothes in a plastic bag inside the book bag in the event of a spill or accident. 

We recommend that you invest in a Sharpie permanent marker and mark all items on the inside tag with your child’s name.  This helps us to get any/all misplaced items back to their rightful owner.

Daniel Imbriale is Head of Facilities at Gulfstream Early Learning Center.  He is charged with maintaining the facility as well as overseeing all of the improvements to the campus.  Dan takes pride in the campus and has created many beautiful spaces both inside and outside.  Dan welcomed our families and guests to enjoy the campus and its many areas for learning and reflection.  "Our home is your home," he had been heard to say.
